Create an account

You can sign up to Northflank here. If you have been invited by a team, follow the link in the invitation email to create an account.

If you are creating a user account you will be able to create a free project with limited resources to explore the platform. You can upgrade this to an unrestricted project later.

Account setup

To create your account simply choose a username, enter your email address, and create a secure password. You will need to verify your email address before continuing.

Alternatively you can register with single-sign on (SSO) with your Google, GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab account.

After verifying your account you will be guided through the initial setup steps detailed below.

  1. Choose the theme you want to use on Northflank (this can be changed later in account settings).
Select a theme
  1. Link either your GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab account to your Northflank account to start building and deploying on Northflank immediately. If you prefer you can do this later from your account settings.
Link a Git service account
  1. Create your first project. Projects on Northflank group together resources such as deployment services and databases. These resources can create isolated networks with each other in the same project and can communicate without the need for public endpoints. User accounts can create a free project with limited resources, which can later be upgraded.
Choose a project type
  1. Give your project a name and select the region it will be hosted in (this cannot be changed after you create your project).
